Autopsy

Today started the forensic science subject, i have been to several morgue before and saw autopsy before, this time is really sick because it has been a long time that i did not see that much of dead bodies.......

The first moment i stepped into the autopsy corridor, a very strong pungent putrefied smell directly hit my olfactory nerve and sent impulses to my brain and told me that i had to leave this immediately, or else i'll get morning sickness and with no doubts i ran outside to get some fresh air first.....in case you do not know...over here, especially cold countries, they do not have much windows in the building, and therefore they do not have much windows to open, and yes they do have that ventilation system here, and usually they do not on it because they wanted to save the electricity!!!!!

Then, after a minute, i mean, less than a minute, after i got my fresh air and emotional preparation to go for another possible disturb scenes, i went inside, and saw two old ladies between 40 to 50s bodies naked lying on the surgical beds with their faces covered by dirty fulled of blood clothes, i do not know whose blood was it, ....to the right...another big autopsy room with a few bodies waiting to be opened.....and to the left, along the corridor, there are a few more lying on the stretcher and a few more on the floor, because there are too many bodies, they do not have anymore spaces to keep them properly, so they just leave it on the floor, naked, without anything, faces covered with dirty cloth again, and cold pale whitish feet exposing make me thought of one of the scene on the creepy ghost movie........

The morgue that i went before were totally different, because most of them died because of illness, and this morgue is for those that died accidentally with unknown causes.....then....photo taking are prohibited....or else i could show you some of the photos....ummmm....then today, the subject is a 35 year old male, found died on 14th of May in his flat, local cops required a proper documentation of how this guy died, then the medical personnel have to go on a autopsy to find out the cause of the death and write a report to the local cops....then, everything just same like what i saw before, cut and open, this and that, starting using a saw to open the brain, take out the brain, cut and cut and cut, then mouth, nose, open the thoracic, cut and cut, liver, lung etc.....i stood there for one and half hour to look at the demonstration.......

I am not afraid of dead bodies, the smell is really sick when it goes down to the gastrointestinal part, and imagine that i have to stand inside the room for more than an hour, and the smell that make you so sick, and so wanted to puke and yet you have to hold it, and pretend that you are in a professional business and could not let others to see your ugly funny expressions on your face, it was totally utterly insane, i wouldn't pretend if i wanted to puke, i'll just leave the room, and get some fresh air...hehe......and yeah, there are some who pretended to be very brave that they could stand the smell, and they did not even have the mask on, i wondered if they studied about microbiology where died bodies especially fresh are inevitably infected with numerous microorganisms, and people could get sick exposing to this non ventilated room for more than an hour.....

i often get questions from friends and relatives that whether i still have the appetite to eat for the whole day, yes, i have a very good appetite, after class, i went to mcdonalds and take away one big mac menu set, and one mc chicken...hehe....damn hungry while looking at dead flesh whole morning.....
