Hotelsssssssss

I am crazy looking over the internet for hotelssssss in the metropolitan Shanghai, most populated area, with bunch of shoppings to do, nearest to the major tourist attractions!!

yes, i haven't slept yet....i need 2 to 3 days to switch back my biological sleeping clock.....

I have two options indeed which i have found

First
JinJiang Hotel

Second
YMCA!!!

go here http://chinatour.net/Shanghai-Peoples-Square-Huaihai-Road.html

The differences between this 2 are

Prices-- one person need to pay RM80 more

Level of Comfort-- Probably the expensive one is better!

Location: both are good

My experience
Throughout my past experience that i have visited China numerous time, sometimes i find it difficult to convince myself to judge the hotel by just looking at the infrastructures and the decorations of the lobby itself. It may vary from the outside, and in the room...It may looked elegant and stylish, but when you entered the room, it is all dissapointments.....It is always out of the expectations...Hotel room is hotel room, a bed, a toilet, a chair, and a tv are all enough, sometimes i don't even watch the tv, so it is not categorized to the essential part...Whenever you want to choose a hotel, the cleaniest is the first come to your mind. I can accept a rocky hard mattress, a pillow which is not even 50% filled cotton, but i cannot accept, a dirty blanket and bed sheets, with pungent smell? itchyness after i woke up the next morning, dirty loo with slippery bath tub, these are all disaster to me.

I do not know which one of the hotels i should go for....but probably now in my mind, i am just going for 2 days, i could save around RM200 for it, and spend the money for the entrance fees and probably a one day trip to another town.

I am not that kind of picky person that will look for luxury hotel everytime....reasonable, and comfortable that's what i am seeking for. (Note: Always go for big hotel in China, most of the time everything are underestimated, China is still the old China, do not expect much for that little of money you have paid for)

Cheap? nope, it's the fairest price ever(NOTE: the price listed in the website are going to divide by 2 persons, as it's only cost that much for a room)......maybe it's haunted? i do not know...I will have a discussion about this matter later with my friends...Please drop in some opinions, i would love to hear what you think.
